Bradley Bears (Bradley, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Emerson Pirates (Emerson, AR), 41-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bradley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bears travel to Nevada (Rosston, AR) to play the Blue Jays in a non-league bout on Friday, November 3. The Blue Jays go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Pirates play the Kirby Trojans (Kirby, AR) in a non-league bout, on Monday, October 30. Emerson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 44-39 non-league win over Cossatot River (Cove, AR).
