In Monday's league challenge, the host Valley Christian Trojans volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Apache Junction Prospectors.
The Trojans (12-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Florence (Florence, AZ). The Gophers enter the challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Florence beat Globe (Globe, AZ), 2-1, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Prospectors face the Globe Tigers (Globe, AZ) in a test, on Wednesday, October 29. Apache Junction will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 6-9 record after their 2-1 league loss to Florence (Florence, AZ).
