In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Vermilion Catholic Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Eunice Bobcats.

The Eagles (11-14) will now prepare for their challenge against V.B. Glencoe Charter (Franklin, LA). The Gators enter the Division V District 3 challenge with a 1-18 record. In their last challenge, V.B. Glencoe Charter was beaten by Centerville (Centerville, LA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats face the St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays (Eunice, LA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, October 28. Eunice will attempt to improve on its 3-18 season record. The Fighting Blue Jays go into the test with a 16-12 record after their 3-0 league win over North Central (Lebeau, LA).
