Texas High School Volleyball - West Rusk over Gilmer

The West Rusk Raiders volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Gilmer Buckeyes to 1 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Monday.

The Raiders now possess a 29-13 record. They play next when they travel to Edgewood for a non-league outing on Saturday, November 1. West Rusk will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league win over Winona (Winona, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-26.

With the loss, Gilmer falls to 19-18 on the year. The Buckeyes travel to Van (Van, TX) to confront the Vandals in a non-league game on Thursday, October 30. The Vandals enter the game with a record of 30-7. Van won 3-0 in their recent league game against Athens (Athens, TX)
