Louisiana High School Football - John Curtis Christian knocks off Brother Martin

The John Curtis Christian Patriots football squad scored 23 points and held the host Brother Martin Crusaders to 14 in the Patriots league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Edna Karr (New Orleans, LA). The Cougars come into the 5A District 9 challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Edna Karr achieved victory over Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, LA), 35-14, in a league challenge.

The Crusaders now sport a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Augustine for a 5A District 9 challenge on Friday, November 4. Brother Martin will meet a Purple Knights team coming off a 28-21 league loss to John Curtis Christian (River Ridge, LA). The Purple Knights record now stands at 6-3.
