Calhoun County Cougars (Edison, GA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Stewart County Royal Knights (Lumpkin, GA), 36-14 in a league test.

With the triumph, Calhoun County improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Cougars host Baker County (Newton, GA) to battle the Bears in a non-league test on Thursday, November 3. The Bears come into the test with a record of 3-3. Baker County won 64-36 in their recent non-league test against Stewart County (Lumpkin, GA)

With the loss, Stewart County drops to 1-7 on the campaign.
