Texas High School Football - Calhoun prevails Rockport-Fulton

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Calhoun Sandcrabs (Port Lavaca, TX) and the visiting Rockport-Fulton Pirates (Rockport, TX), observed Calhoun's football squad defeat Rockport-Fulton by a count of 31-10.

The Sandcrabs now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Floresville for a 4A-1 Region IV District 15 contest on Friday, November 4. Calhoun will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 35-14 league loss to Pleasanton (Pleasanton, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 4-5.

Coming up next, the Pirates encounter the La Vernia Bears (La Vernia, TX) in a 4A-1 Region IV District 15 contest, on Friday, November 4. Rockport-Fulton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Bears go into the contest with a 7-2 record after their 28-27 league win over Jones (Beeville, TX).
