In Friday's league game, the Hempfield Black Knights (Landisville, PA) football team knocked off the host Reading Red KNights (Reading, PA), by a score of 40-16.
The Black Knights (8-2) will now prepare for their game against Carlisle (Carlisle, PA). The Thundering Herd come into the non-league game with a 6-4 record. In their last game, Carlisle toppled Central Dauphin East (Harrisburg, PA), 27-14, in a league game.
The Red KNights now sport a 3-7 record.
