Arizona High School Football - La Joya Community routed by Kellis

In Friday's league game, the Kellis Cougars (Glendale, AZ) football team smashed the visiting La Joya Community Fighting Lobos (Avondale, AZ), by a score of 54-14.

The Cougars (3-5) will now prepare for their game against West Point (Avondale, AZ). The Dragons come into the 5A Central Valley game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, West Point was ripped by Paradise Valley (Phoenix, AZ), 42-41, in a league game.

The Fighting Lobos now sport a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Canyon for a 5A Central Valley game on Friday, November 4. La Joya Community will meet a Rattlers team coming off a 39-13 league win over Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ). The Rattlers record now stands at 1-7.
