The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Calvary Christian Cougar (King, NC) and the visiting Matthews Christian Academy Colts (Matthews, NC), saw Calvary Christian's volleyball squad beat Matthews Christian Academy by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Calvary Christian upgrades its record to 14-5 on the year. The Cougar travel to Rockwell Christian School (Rockwell, NC) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 29. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 15-4. Rockwell Christian School won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Scotland Christian Academy (Laurinburg, NC)

The Colts now own a 14-7 record.
