In Friday's league test, the visiting Gold-Burg Bears volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Prairie Valley Bulldogs.

The Bears now have a 8-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Meridian for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 1.

The Bulldogs (4-17) will now prepare for their test against Covington (Covington, TX). The Owls enter the non-league test with a 8-15 record. In their last test, Covington was knocked off by Blum (Blum, TX), 3-0, in a league test.
