The Moose Lake/Willow River Rebels thwarted the visiting Mesabi East Giants football team by a count of 28-14 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, Moose Lake/Willow River upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Rebels travel to Barnum (Barnum, MN) to encounter the Bombers in a non-league outing on Thursday, November 2. The Bombers go into the outing with a record of 10-0. Barnum won 41-0 in their recent non-league outing against Aitkin (Aitkin, MN)
With the loss, Mesabi East moves to 8-2 on the season.
