The Westmoreland Eagles football team (Montross, VA), was ripped 45-12 in Saturday's league challenge with the visiting Rappahannock Raiders (Warsaw, VA)
The Raiders (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Northumberland (Heathsville, VA). The Indians come into the Northern Neck challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Northumberland trounced Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA), 50-18, in a league challenge.
The Eagles now sport a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Essex for a Northern Neck challenge on Friday, November 3. Westmoreland will meet a Trojans team coming off a 38-28 league win over Lancaster (Lancaster, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 9-0.
