The Eldorado Golden Eagles held off the host Piedra Vista Panthers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Golden Eagles now have a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sandia for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 31. Eldorado will confront a Matadors team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Farmington (Farmington, NM). The Matadors record now stands at 13-2.
The Panthers (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears go into the non-league contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, La Cueva edged West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
