In Saturday's non-league game, the Bishop Walsh Spartans (Cumberland, MD) soccer squad tipped the visiting Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers (Chambersburg, PA), by a final score of 2-1.
The Blazers (22-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Avalon (Wheaton, MD). The Black Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Avalon was edged by Washington Latin Public Charter School (Washington, DC), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
