In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Hudson Explorers soccer squad scored a close 5-1 triumph over the Twinsburg Tigers.

The Explorers (15-4) will now prepare for their battle against Medina (Medina, OH). The Battling Bees come into the non-league battle with a 18-0 record. In their last battle, Medina nudged Wadsworth (Wadsworth, OH), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
