In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Ashley Screaming Eagle soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the New Hanover Wildcats.

The Screaming Eagle (11-5) will now prepare for their outing against North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Scorpions come into the non-league test with a 7-11 record. In their last test, North Brunswick was tipped by Topsail (Hampstead, NC), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now sport a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they host Hoggard for a test on Wednesday, October 30. New Hanover will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 3-0 league win over West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 12-1.
