In Monday's league outing, the visiting Swain County Maroon Devils soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Tri-County Jaguars.

The Maroon Devils (10-7) will now prepare for their outing against Highlands (Highlands, NC). The Highlanders enter the Smoky Mountain 1A battle with a 11-6 record. In their last battle, Highlands tipped Blue Ridge Early College (Cashiers, NC), 1-0, in a league battle.
