The Buckingham Knights volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Nottoway Cougars to 1 in the Knights league win on Monday.

With the win, Buckingham advances its record to 10-6 on the season. The Knights host Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA) to face the Raiders in a James River test on Tuesday, October 29. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 13-6. Amelia County won 3-1 in their recent league test against Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA)

The Cougars now sport a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Randolph-Henry for a James River test on Tuesday, October 29. Nottoway will face a Statesmen squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA). The Statesmen record now stands at 7-12.
