In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Shorecrest Scots volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Mountlake Terrace Hawks.

The Scots (4-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Edmonds-Woodway (Edmonds, WA). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 13-4 record. In their last challenge, Edmonds-Woodway was nudged by Lynnwood (Bothell, WA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Hawks meet the Shorewood Stormrays (Shoreline, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 30. Mountlake Terrace will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Stormrays come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Snohomish (Snohomish, WA).
