In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Sandia Matadors volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Capital Jaguars.
The Matadors (7-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Manzano (Albuquerque, NM). The Monarchs come into the non-league challenge with a 6-10 record.
Next, the Jaguars meet the La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league test, on Thursday, October 30. Capital will attempt to improve on its 5-12 season record. The Bears go into the test with a 12-1 record after their 2-0 league win over Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM).
