In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Volcano Vista Hawks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Rio Rancho Rams.
The Hawks (14-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Farmington (Farmington, NM). The Scorpions come into the non-league challenge with a 13-9 record. In their last challenge, Farmington lost by Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Rams now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cibola for a non-league test on Thursday, October 30. Rio Rancho will face a Cougars squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM). The Cougars record now stands at 7-5.
