In Tuesday's league match, the Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Bloomfield Bobcats (Bloomfield, NM), by a count of 3-1.

Next up, the Tigers encounter the Shiprock Chieftains (Shiprock, NM) in a 4A District 1 battle, on Thursday, October 30. Aztec will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Chieftains go into the battle with a 11-8 record after their 3-2 league win over Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM).

The Bobcats now own a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gallup for a 4A District 1 battle on Thursday, October 30. Bloomfield will encounter a Bengals squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Miyamura (Gallup, NM). The Bengals record now stands at 9-11.
