In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Thompson Tommies volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Hillsboro/Central Valley H-CV Burros.
The Tommies (16-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg (Mayville, ND). The Patriots come into the B - Region 2 challenge with a 14-4 record. In their last challenge, Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg went down by Grafton (Grafton, ND), 3-2, in a league test.
The H-CV Burros now sport a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Cass for a non-league test on Thursday, October 30. Hillsboro/Central Valley will face a Squirrels squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Lisbon (Lisbon, ND). The Squirrels record now stands at 9-5.
