In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Holy Cross Crusaders volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Woodland Regional Hawks.

The Crusaders (17-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Naugatuck (Naugatuck, CT). The Greyhounds come into the non-league challenge with a 21-1 record. In their last challenge, Naugatuck edged Seymour (Seymour, CT), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
