The Mountainair Mustangs topped the visiting Carrizozo Grizzlies volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Saturday's league test.
The Mustangs now have a 3-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Corona/Vaughn for a 1A District 3 test on Tuesday, November 1. Mountainair will confront a team coming off a 3-1 league win over Hondo Valley (Hondo, NM). The record now stands at 6-11.
The Grizzlies (2-19) will now prepare for their test against Hondo Valley (Hondo, NM). The Eagles enter the 1A District 3 test with a 7-12 record. In their last test, Hondo Valley was knocked off by Alamo Navajo (Magdalena, NM), 3-0, in a league test.
