The (11-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Melrose (Melrose, NM). The Buffaloes enter the 1A District 6 challenge with a 21-0 record. In their last challenge, Melrose defeated Gateway Christian (Roswell, NM), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Reserve Mountaineers (Reserve, NM) in a 1A District 2 challenge, on Thursday, November 3. Quemado will attempt to move on its 14-6 season record. The Mountaineers enter the challenge with a 12-9 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Carrizozo (Carrizozo, NM).
