In their next game, the Wildcats play the Academy of Richmond County Musketeers (Augusta, GA) in a D2 Area 2 challenge, on Tuesday, October 29. Laney will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Musketeers go into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 13-0 league win over Glenn Hills (Augusta, GA).

The Eagles (0-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Jefferson County (Louisville, GA). The Warriors go into the D2 Area 2 challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Jefferson County toppled Davidson Fine Arts (Augusta, GA), 38-6, in a league challenge.
