The Monticello Mustangs volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Orange County Fighting Hornets to 0 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now possess a 4-16 record. They play next when they travel to Fluvanna County for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 31. Monticello will play a Flying Flucos team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Flying Flucos record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Orange County drops to 4-12 on the campaign. The Fighting hornets travel to Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA) to play the Black Knights in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 31. The Black Knights come into the outing with a record of 7-10. Charlottesville lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA)
