Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) and the host Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM), observed Taos's volleyball team top Espanola Valley by a count of 3-1.

The Tigers (12-8) will now prepare for their contest against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM). The Hilltoppers go into the 4A District 2 battle with a 7-7 record. In their last battle, Los Alamos achieved victory over Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Sundevils now own a 4-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Moriarty for a 4A District 2 battle on Thursday, October 31. Espanola Valley will encounter a Pintos squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM). The Pintos record now stands at 5-15.
