Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Superior Central Cougars (Eben Junction, MI) and the host Rapid River Rockets (Rapid River, MI), observed Superior Central's volleyball team top Rapid River by a tally of 3-1.

The Cougars (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Munising (Munising, MI). The Mustangs enter the Skyline contest with a 13-7 record. In their last contest, Munising beat Norway (Norway, MI), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Rockets meet the North Central Jets (Powers, MI) in a Skyline contest, on Thursday, October 31. Rapid River will attempt to upgrade on its 0-14 season record. The Jets enter the contest with a 4-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Carney-Nadeau (Carney, MI).
