Arizona High School Flag Football - Westwood can't hold off Mountain View

Mountain View Toros (Mesa, AZ) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their flag football team tip the host Westwood Warriors (Mesa, AZ), 8-3 in a league match.

The Toros (9-3) will now prepare for their match against Skyline (Mesa, AZ). The Coyotes come into the 6A East Valley match with a 2-11 record. In their last match, Skyline was nudged by Red Mountain (Mesa, AZ), 44-0, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Warriors meet the Mesa Jackrabbits (Mesa, AZ) in a 6A East Valley battle, on Tuesday, November 4. Westwood will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Jackrabbits come into the test with a 3-9 record after their 26-9 league win over Dobson (Mesa, AZ).
