Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Edmonds-Woodway Warriors (Edmonds, WA) and the visiting Lynnwood Royals (Bothell, WA), observed Edmonds-Woodway's volleyball team hold off Lynnwood by a count of 3-2.

The Warriors (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Shorecrest (Seattle, WA). The Scots go into the 2A/3A/4A Wesco battle with a 5-10 record. In their last battle, Shorecrest was edged by Archbishop Murphy (Everett, WA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Royals meet the Mountlake Terrace Hawks (Mountlake Terrace, WA) in a 2A/3A/4A Wesco contest, on Monday, November 3. Lynnwood will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Hawks enter the contest with a 9-8 record after their 3-1 league win over Shorewood (Shoreline, WA).
