In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD) volleyball team knocked off the host Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD), by a margin of 3-0.
The Sentinels now possess a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Clear Spring for a non-league bout on Friday, October 31. Fort Hill will clash with a Blazers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Allegany (Cumberland, MD). The Blazers record now stands at 11-6.
With the loss, Mountain Ridge drops to 4-9 on the campaign.
