The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Providence Pioneers (Burbank, CA) and the host Westridge Tigers (Pasadena, CA), saw Providence's volleyball squad beat Westridge by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Providence upgrades its record to 8-6 on the year. The Pioneers host The Webb Schools (Claremont, CA) to play the Gauls in a non-league bout on Friday, October 14. The Gauls go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

The Tigers now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to Flintridge Prep for a bout on Friday, October 7. Westridge will play a Wolves squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 2-1.
