In Monday's league battle, the visiting Bald Eagle Area Bald Eagles soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers.

The Bald Eagles (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Clearfield (Clearfield, PA). The Bison come into the Mountain League battle with a 10-1 record.

The Mountaineers (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Tyrone (Tyrone, PA). The Golden Eagles come into the Mountain League battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Tyrone nudged Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA), 4-2, in a league battle.
