In Monday's league battle, the host Hodgdon Hawks soccer squad scored a close 8-1 triumph over the Katahdin Cougars.
The Hawks (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against East Grand (Dansforth, ME). The Vikings come into the Class D - North battle with a 1-4 record.
The Cougars (0-6) will now prepare for their battle against Southern Aroostook (Dyer Brook, ME). The Warriors come into the Class D - North battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Southern Aroostook nudged East Grand (Dansforth, ME), 7-0, in a league battle.
