Shady Side Academy Bulldogs (Pittsburgh, PA) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host South Park Eagles (South Park, PA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs confront the Keystone Oaks Golden Eagles (Pittsburgh, PA) in a challenge, on Thursday, October 6. Shady Side Academy will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 1-0 league loss to West Mifflin (West Mifflin, PA).

The Eagles now have a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to McGuffey for a WPIAL A 2 challenge on Wednesday, October 5. South Park will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Shady Side Academy (Pittsburgh, PA). The Highlanders record now stands at 3-7.
