Next, the Blue Devils confront the East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC) in a challenge, on Wednesday, October 5. Brevard will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 7-0 league loss to Polk County (Columbus, NC).

The Wolverines now possess a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Hendersonville for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 10.
