Concord Spiders (Concord, NC) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Spiders confront the Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) in a challenge, on Wednesday, October 5. Concord will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record.
The Falcons now have a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Carson for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 10. West Rowan will confront a Cougars team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Concord (Concord, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 2-2.
