North Carolina High School Soccer - Gray's Creek nudges Seventy-First

The Gray's Creek Bears soccer team scored 3 points and limited the host Seventy-First Falcons to 2 in the Bears league victory on Monday.

Next, the Bears face the Douglas Byrd Eagles (Fayetteville, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, October 5. Gray's Creek will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 0-10 record after their 12-0 league loss to South View (Hope Mills, NC).

The Falcons now have a 3-10 record. They take the field next when they host Cape Fear for a United Eight 3A/4A contest on Wednesday, October 5. Seventy-First will face a Colts team coming off a 5-0 league win over Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC). The Colts record now stands at 9-6.
