The crowd at Monday's league test between the Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) and the host West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC), saw Laney's soccer squad triumph over West Brunswick by a margin of 10-1.

The Buccaneers now sport a 12-0 record. They play next when they host Topsail for a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Tuesday, October 4. Laney will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 5-1 league win over North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 9-1.
