With the triumph, East Laurens moves its record to 17-8 on the year. The Falcons host Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, October 6. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 10-11. Montgomery County won 9-5 in their recent non-league game against Clinch County (Homerville, GA)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Vidalia Indians (Vidalia, GA) in a 2A Region 3 game, on Tuesday, October 4. Toombs County will attempt to move on its 10-13 season record. The Indians come into the game with a 12-9 record after their 7-0 league win over Pierce County (Blackshear, GA).
