Taylor County Vikings (Butler, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Macon County Bulldogs (Montezuma, GA), 7-0 in a league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 14-6 record. They take the field next when they host Macon County for a 1A D-II Region 6 challenge on Monday, October 3. Taylor County will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Manchester (Manchester, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, Macon County falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Taylor County (Butler, GA) to battle the Vikings in a 1A D-II Region 6 challenge on Monday, October 3. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 12-6. Taylor County won 6-5 in their recent league challenge against Marion County (Buena Vista, GA)
