The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Calhoun Academy Cavaliers (St. Matthews, SC) and the host Cathedral Academy Generals (North Charleston, SC), saw Calhoun Academy's volleyball squad nip Cathedral Academy by a tally of 3-2.

With the victory, Calhoun Academy moves its record to 8-5 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Andrew Jackson Academy (Ehrhardt, SC) to meet the Warriors in a SCISA AA Region I game on Wednesday, October 5. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 1-8.

The Generals (5-10) will now prepare for their game against Clarendon Hall (Summerton, SC). The Saints enter the SCISA AA Region I game with a 5-5 record.
