The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Colonial Beach Drifters (Colonial Beach, VA) and the visiting Caroline Cavaliers (Milford, VA), saw Colonial Beach's volleyball squad beat Caroline by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Colonial Beach upgrades its record to 4-8 on the year. The Drifters travel to Westmoreland (Montross, VA) to play the Eagles in a Northern Neck bout on Tuesday, October 4. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Westmoreland lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Northumberland (Heathsville, VA)

The Cavaliers now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to King George for a Battlefield bout on Tuesday, October 4. Caroline will play a Foxes squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA). The Foxes record now stands at 10-2.
