In Monday's league battle, the visiting Mintz Christian Academy Lions volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders.

The Lions (13-0) will now prepare for their battle against Antioch Christian Academy (Lumberton, NC). The Gators come into the CCAA battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Antioch Christian Academy defeated Southeastern Christian Academy (Shallotte, NC), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Defenders encounter the Sandhills Classical Christian Lions (Southern Pines, NC) in a CCAA battle, on Thursday, October 6. Christ the Cornerstone Academy will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Lions come into the battle with a 0-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Liberty Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC).
