In Monday's non-league battle, the host Clayton Yellowjackets volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Cimarron Rams.

The Yellowjackets (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM). The Rattlers come into the non-league battle with a 12-4 record. In their last battle, Tucumcari achieved victory over Pecos (Pecos, NM), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Rams clash with the Des Moines Demons (Des Moines, NM) in a 1A District 5 battle, on Thursday, October 6. Cimarron will attempt to advance on its 6-6 season record. The Demons come into the battle with a 6-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Wagon Mound (Wagon Mound, NM).
