The Connetquot T-Birds (Bohemia, NY) volleyball were winner over the visiting Newfield Wolverines (Selden, NY), 3-0 in Monday's league outing.

With the win, Connetquot betters its record to 4-3 on the year. The T-Birds travel to Walt Whitman (Huntington Station, NY) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league game on Saturday, October 8. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 8-7. Walt Whitman won 3-0 in their recent league game against Central Islip (Central Islip, NY)

The Wolverines (0-12) will now prepare for their game against Centereach (Centereach, NY). The Cougars enter the Section 11 AA-2 game with a 3-10 record. In their last game, Centereach beat Patchogue-Medford (Medford, NY), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
