The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Venice Gondoliers (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Culver City Centaurs (Culver City, CA), saw Venice's volleyball squad beat Culver City by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Venice upgrades its record to 34-6 on the year. The Gondoliers travel to Westchester (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Comets in a Western bout on Tuesday, October 4. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 0-9. Westchester lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Fairfax (Los Angeles, CA)

The Centaurs now own a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to Redondo Union for a Bay bout on Wednesday, October 5. Culver City will play a Sea Hawks squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA). The Sea Hawks record now stands at 18-8.
